PETROS AND FELDER GARNER LEAGUE WEEKLY HONORS

INDIANAPOLIS - Oakland's Corey Petros and Kahlil Felder collect the final Horizon League weekly awards, announced by the league office on Monday. Petros was named player of the week for the first time in his career, while Felder receives freshman of the week for a league-best seventh time.

Petros averaged a double-double last week with 18.5 points and 10.5 rebounds per game. The junior center shot 75 percent from the floor and recorded his league-leading ninth double-double at Youngstown State (3/1) with 23 points and 13 rebounds. He began the week with 14 points and eight rebounds against regular-season champion Green Bay (2/27).

Felder tallied his third double-double at YSU last Saturday night. The freshman point guard matched his season-high 12 assists, adding 10 points. He finished the week averaging 10.0 assists and 8.5 points per game. He leads all freshman in the country with 193 assists, the most by any freshman in Horizon League history.

The Golden Grizzlies finished tied for fifth in the final Horizon League standings. OU will be the No. 6 seed and will host No. 7 seed Youngstown State this Tuesday night inside the Athletics Center O'rena. Game time is set for 7 p.m.
