ROCHESTER, Mich. - The Oakland men's and women's track and field teams will have split squads competing in three different meets this weekend as athletes will be at the Drake Relays in Des Moines, Iowa, the Hillsdale Gina Relays in Hillsdale, Mich. and the Lyle Bennett Open, hosted by Central Michigan.

Weekend Notes
- Last weekend, two Golden Grizzlies broke the same record as Miranda Haas and Brittni Hutton broke the 3,000m steeplechase mark
- Hutton set the record with a time of 10:42.12 at the Jesse Owens Classic
- Jeff Arirguzo earned a pair of runner-up finishes at the EMU Twilight Meet in the 100m and 200m dash events
- Jennifer Lane set a season-best mark of 5 feet, 5.25 inches in the high jump for a second-place finish
- Freshman Gino Vitella also finished runner-up in the shot put with a throw of 50 feet, 10 inches
