ROCHESTER, Mich. - Corey Petros has been named the Oakland Student-Athlete of the Week after a great performance against #5 Michigan State at the Palace of Auburn Hills on Dec. 14.

Petros played 39 minutes in the contest tallying 11 points and was 5-for-7 from the floor. He also added six rebounds - five of them defensive - in the 67-64 Oakland loss. From the stripe, he went 1-for-2.

Oakland next plays in double-header fashion at the O'rena when Eastern visits on Dec. 21 and Robert Morris on Dec. 22. Both games tip at 1 p.m.
