ROCHESTER, Mich. - Duke Mondy has been selected as Oakland's Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of Dec. 9-15. He earned the honor for a stellar effort against Michigan State on Dec. 16 at the Palace of Auburn Hills.

Mondy played all 40 minutes and recorded a game-high 24 points in the contest against the Spartans in a 67-64 Oakland loss. He also nabbed seven steals, which was both a career and game high total. He added six rebounds as well, five of them defensive and was 3-for-5 from behind the arc.

Oakland plays next on Monday, Dec. 16 against Illinois State in the Athletics Center O'rena. The game will begin at 7 p.m.
