ROCHESTER, Mich. - Cassie Pelloni had an outstanding week on the court for Oakland and has been named the OU Student-Athlete of the Week after also earning Horizon League Offensive Player of the Week honors. Pelloni totaled 37 kills on the weekend including 25 on Saturday against Cleveland State in a tough 3-2 loss.

Pelloni began the weekend strong on Friday night as she tallied a team-high 12 kills in OU's 3-1 over Youngstown State. The 25 kills she earned on Saturday were good for a team-high, career high and a match-high total so far this season in the Horizon League.

Oakland is in action again this Friday, Oct. 11 against Wright State on the road at 7 p.m.
