South Dakota Shoots Past Oakland, 97-78

ROCHESTER, Mich. (AP) - South Dakota overcame a 14-point first-half deficit and had six men score in double figures to earn a 97-78 victory over Oakland on Saturday.

Casey Kasperbauer led the way with 23 points for South Dakota (8-12, 4-4 Summit), including 5 of 7 from 3-point range. South Dakota made 10 of 19 shots from beyond the arc as a team. South Dakota also was 19 of 20 from the free-throw line.

Juevol Myles added 17 points, Brandon Bos had 13, Trevor Gruis and Jordan Boots had 11 and Karim Rowson had 10.

Oakland (8-13, 3-4) suffered its second-worst home league loss tonight. The Golden Grizzlies had won 10 straight home games heading into the game, and fall to 37-4 over the last 41 games inside the O'rena versus league opponents.

Travis Bader scored 19 points, Drew Valentine had 18, Duke Mondy had 17, and Corey Petros had 10. Valentine added 11 rebounds for his third double-double of the season.
