ATHENS, Ohio -- Fresh off a win over Cincinnati, the Oakland baseball team (1-7) will travel to Ohio (4-7) for a three game series at Bob Wren Stadium starting on Friday at 4 p.m. The Golden Grizzlies have been involved in entertaining games all season, with seven of the eight decided by three runs or less.

• With two stolen bases against Cincinnati, Tim Ryan moved into second placed all-time in career stolen bases at Oakland with 63. He is a perfect 6-for-6 on the bases this season.
