ROCHESTER, Mich.- The Oakland men's and women's track and field teams will travel to Fort Wayne, Ind. to compete in the 2012 Summit League Indoor Track and Field Championships hosted by IPFW on Feb. 24-25 at the IPFW Athletics Center.
The women will be led by Lia Jones, who holds the second fastest time in the league in the 3,000- and 5,000-meter runs and Micah Jones, who holds the second-best league mark in the long jump. The men are led by Niklas Rippon who has the fourth fastest time in the 60-meter hurdles in the league and Ryan Balzer who ranks in the top 10 this season in the high jump.
