ROCHESTER, Mich.- The Oakland men's and women's track and field teams will look to use their momentum after breaking six school records last week, as they travel to The Summit League Outdoor Track and Field Championships, hosted by North Dakota State, at Ellig Sports Complex in Fargo, N.D. The meet will begin on Thursday starting at noon and will continue on Friday at noon and on Saturday at 11 a.m.

Last week, the Golden Grizzlies broke six school records including Micah Jones in the high jump, John Butler and Kara Lotan in the javelin throw, Lia Jones in the 1,500-meter, Kyle Wilson in the 400-meter dash and the women's 4x100-meter relay team. Over the course of the year, several other school records have fallen including Andrew Stebbins in the shot put, Steven Marcinkowski in the 3,000-meter steeplechase and Shannon Getchen in the discus throw.
