Corey Petros earns OU Student-Athlete of the Week after averaging 16 points and 8.5 rebounds per game to help lead the Golden Grizzlies to a 1-1 record last week.

Petros, a redshirt sophomore from Macomb, Mich., began the week being named Summit League Player of the Week for his performances at Boise State and at Pittsburgh. He would go on to score 18 points and grab eight rebounds in a 71-69 win at Texas Southern. At Michigan State, he scored 14 points, going 8-for-8 from the foul line, and had nine rebounds. Petros leads The Summit League in field goal percentage at 68.0 and is third in the league in rebounding averaging 7.2 per game.

This is Petros' first career OU Student-Athlete of the Week honor.
