ELMHURST, Ill.- Oakland's Marcella Barretta was named The Summit League's Female Swimming and Diving Athlete of the Week for her performance against IUPUI on Jan. 28 in the OU Aquatic Center during the homecoming festivities.

Barretta claims her second career Swimming and Diving Athlete of the Week award and first of the season after helping the Golden Grizzlies defeat the Jaguars. The senior diver won both events with a one-meter score of 268.12 and a three-meter score of 288.38. Both scores are NCAA Zone qualifying scores.

Oakland will host the Summit League Championships on Feb. 15-18 at the OU Aquatic Center. Prelims begin at 11 a.m. every day and finals on Wednesday begin at 7 p.m. with finals on Thursday, Friday and Saturday beginning at 6 p.m. A single-session pass is $7 while an all-session pass is $35.
