ROCHESTER, Mich. - The Oakland men's basketball team (2-2) will begin a seven-game homestand this Friday night as the Golden Grizzlies host Utah Valley (3-2) in their home opener inside the Athletics Center O'rena at 7 p.m. This will be the fourth and final game of the Southwest Classic Tournament.

Oakland has won two straight games and has outrebounded its opponents in 3 of 4 games this season. The Golden Grizzlies are 8-5 in home openers inside the O'rena, but have won seven straight dating back to last season.
