ROCHESTER, Mich. - Freshman Tony Schafer, who recently earned all-league accolades for earning one of the top-three marks in The Summit League in the 10,000-meter run prior to the championship, will represent Oakland University at the USA Junior Outdoor Track and Field Championship on Friday, June 25 in Des Moines, Iowa at Drake Stadium. The Grand Rapids, Mich. native will compete in the 10K at 10 p.m. EST.

Schafer's time of 30:56.53, reached at the Hillsdale Gina Relays back on April 23, qualified him to compete at the meet.
