Golden Grizzlies Drop 7-0 Decision to Detroit

DETROIT - The Oakland women's tennis team (1-11, 1-3 Summit League) was unable to get a point on the board as the Golden Grizzlies were defeated 7-0 by Detroit (5-10, 3-1 Horizon League) Monday afternoon at the Titan Tennis Complex.

Junior Jackie Dinicu battled in her first set a No. 3 singles before falling 6-3, 6-1, while No. singles player Karen Karoub fell 6-2, 6-2.

The Golden Grizzlies will look to rebound when they host Valparaiso on Saturday, April 10 at Bloomfield Tennis and Fitness. The match is scheduled for a 2 p.m. start.
