Oakland falls to 7-3 all-time against Toledo and the Golden Grizzlies have now gone 41-33 against schools from the Mid American Conference (MAC).
The loss snaps a five-game winning streak for Oakland.
Brittany Carnago finished the game with one block. She now has a block in eight of the nine games she has played in this season. With 139 in her career, she needs just five more blocks to move into a tie for 10th.
Oakland started the game out 0-8 from the field, while Toledo knocked down its first three shots from the field to take a 9-0 lead.
The Golden Grizzlies beat Illinois 62-61 in overtime on Wednesday. The Golden Grizzlies are 6-8 following an overtime game in the division I era. This is the second time that OU has played a MAC school following an overtime game with a Big Ten school this season.
Bethany Watterworth had 11 points in the first half to finish in double-digits in the first half for the seventh time this season. The Golden Grizzlies are 5-2 in those seven games.
The 16 points in the first half were a season-low for Oakland.
Oakland shot 15.4 percent from the field in the second half, the lowest of any half this season.
The Golden Grizzlies' 36 points were a season low.

Toledo is 7-9 all-time against teams from The Summit League.
Naama Sharif scored 36 points when the two teams met last season a game that Toledo won 87-75 at the Athletics Center O'rena. She finished with 10 points on Friday.
Toledo started the game on a 9-0 run and led by as many as 18 in the first half.
The Rockets forced Oakland into 12 first-half turnovers and scored 14 points off of those turnovers.
Toledo had three players in double-figures, led by Melissa Goodall.
