ROCHESTER, Mich. - Oakland University (5-4) will continue its tough non-conference stretch as the Golden Grizzlies host No. 7 Michigan State (6-3) at The Palace of Auburn Hills this Saturday, Dec. 11. The game will be regionally-televised on FS DETROIT at 12:30 p.m.

The Golden Grizzlies are in the midst of a three-game stretch versus ranked teams. OU fell at No. 16 Illinois (74-63) in a game that they led for 25 minutes. The 7th-ranked Spartans are next and then Oakland will travel to No. 11 Tennessee on Tuesday, Dec. 14.
The Grizzlies continue to outrebound their opponents, dominating the Fighting Illini 45-34. OU is also shooting 75 percent from the free throw line and scoring over 80 points per game.
Keith Benson had his toughest game of the season at U of I, finishing the game with 11 points and seven rebounds, facing constant double teams from 7-foot-1 and 6-foot-10 guys. Reggie Hamilton led the way with 18 against the Illini, while Will Hudson reached double figures in his sixth straight game with 14 and a team-best eight rebounds.
