• Johnathon Jones is now three points away from joining the 1,000 point club, thanks to his nine points tonight. He will become the third current Golden Grizzly to hit the mark (Derick Nelson and Erik Kangas).

• The Golden Grizzlies are now on a five-game win streak at the O'Rena.

• Kangas now has 52 treys this season, which is third in the nation. He also tied his career-high in assists, with five.

• Oakland is now 6-0 when Kangas leads the team in scoring. OU is also 6-0 when they shoot 40 percent or better from behind the three-point arc.

• The Golden Grizzlies are 8-2 this season against non-BCS teams.

• Keith Benson was just shy of a double-double with 19 points and 9 rebounds.

Coincidently, that UMKC game was also Oakland's first home league game last season.

• SDSU also had five players in double-figures. Garrett Callahan (24, which is a new season-high), Anthony Cordova (17, which tied his career-high), Griffan Callahan (14, also tying a career-high), Kai Williams (12) and Clint Sargent (12).
