ROCHESTER, Mich. - Junior Marcin Unold claimed the Summit League Male Swimming Athlete of the Week award for the week of Oct. 6 after, as announced by the Summit League.

Unold Oakland to a pair of first place relay finishes, including a record performance, at the Dennis Stark Relays at Notre Dame Oct 3. He swam the anchor leg for the Golden Grizzlies' 400-back relay champion that set a meet record by finishing with a time of 3:25.47. Unold also helped Oakland to a win in the 200 medley with a time of 1:34.67.

The Golden Grizzlies will compete in their first home meet of the season on Saturday, Oct. 25 at 1 p.m.
