Tulsa, Okla. (Mar. 6, 2007) - For the second time in three years Oakland will play for the Mid-Continent Conference championship tonight, as the No. 2 seed Golden Grizzlies will take on No. 1 seed Oral Roberts in Tulsa. Oakland moved its current winning streak to four games last night with an 83-79 victory over UMKC in a tournament semifinal game. Oakland overcame an 11-point second half deficit to down the Kangaroos, getting a career-high 23 points and 10 rebounds from sophomore Derick Nelson (Lansing, Mich.). OU and ORU will play for the title at 7:00 p.m. Eastern in a game that will be televised live on ESPN.
