FORT WAYNE, Ind. ???C Senior Jenna Goulet fired a first round score of 74 on the heels of a two-under par 34 on the back side to lead the Oakland University women???s golf team during first round play on Monday in the IPFW Fall Classic Tournament, at the par-72, 5,955-yard Deer Track Golf Course. The Golden Grizzlies are currently in sixth place with a score of 308, 12 shots behind day one leader IUPUI at 296.

Sophomore Austin McDermaid and junior Kelly Wilke were the only other two sub-80 performers for the Golden Grizzlies. McDermaid shot 37-39 for a 76, while Wilke also posted a 76 with scores of 39 and 37.

Junior Nikki Swan was the final scorer for the Grizzlies on day one, shooting 39-43 for an 82. Day two of the competition will commence at 9 a.m. tomorrow morning. For first day results, please go to Round 1.
