(Mar. 23, 2005) ???C For the fourth time this season, junior Patricia Ellsworth (Leamington, Ontario) has been named Mid-Continent Conference Golfer of the Week the league announced today. She was honored for her play early this week at the Butler Spring Invitational where she led the Golden Grizzlies to the team title in their first action of the spring season. Ellsworth led Oakland to its third straight team title by finishing second in the individual standings. She carded an opening round of 79 and followed that up with a round of 82 on the second day to finish with a 161, three-strokes behind the leader. She has had or shared the team low score in every outing this season for the Golden Grizzlies. Her 78.2 stroke average for the season leads the team and is third in the league.
