Box Score The Oakland University softball team is still searching for it's first win of the 2002 season as the Golden grizzlies were edged by Creighton, 1-0 in the Compass Bank Invitational. Oakland drops to 0-3 on the season, while CU improves to 3-5. The Golden Grizzlies and the Blue Jays played a scoreless game until the fifth inning as CU scored on an OU throwing error to make it a 1-0 game. The Grizzlies were unable to muster a comeback and fell to the Jays, 1-0. Collecting hits for OU were juniors Nina Catanzaro, Nicole Schulte, Jennifer Granger and Laura Seffens. Freshman pitcher Nicole Marzano only allowed one hit in the loss. OU will resume play at 6 p.m. eastern time as they battle tournament host Baylor.
