The home of Oakland University Men’s and Women’s Basketball and Volleyball, the OU Credit Union O'rena—nicknamed The Blacktop—is one of the Horizon League’s most electrifying venues. Opened in 1998 and renamed in 2023 through a landmark 10-year, $5 million naming rights partnership with Oakland University Credit Union, the facility seats 4,000 fans and features the NCAA’s only all-black court, complete with an outline of Michigan and the iconic bear head logo at center court.
Known for its passionate student section, the Grizz Gang, The Blacktop delivers an intense, high-energy game day atmosphere. With top-tier sound and lighting systems, modern branding, and digital displays, the OU Credit Union O'rena offers fans and student-athletes an unmatched home court advantage.
