- Pitched in 14 games in his first season with the Golden Grizzlies, starting seven
- Finished with a 1-4 record, 10.36 ERA, 2.30 WHIP and a 26/12 K/BB ratio over 28.2 innings
- Earned his lone win by allowing two runs on six hits over a season-high seven innings with one walk and a career-best eight strikeouts in a victory over the Marshall Thundering Herd of Conference USA in the second game of a March 5 doubleheader in Huntington, WV

• Went 6-6 with a 2.47 ERA in 14 starts with a team-best four complete games
• Finished the season with the fifth most strikeouts (110) in the nation
• Led the team innings pitched (83.2), averaging 11.3 strikeouts per nine innings
 
2018:
• Garnered First Team All-American honors and was named the Player of the Year in the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference • First Team All-Region selection and named the Region’s Pitcher of the Year
• Went 9-2 with a 1.41 ERA in 12 starts
• Finished the year with the second-best ERA in the nation and his 109 strikeouts were third most at the NJCAA Division II level
• Also ranked eighth best in the country in strikeouts per nine innings (12.85)
• Walked just 12 batters in 76.1 innings.
