Biography

Josh Mahoney enters his first season as a volunteer assistant coach for the Golden Grizzlies men[apos]s soccer team. He played 20 games for Oakland and is finishing his degree in history at Oakland University.

2007: Appeared in four games for the Grizzlies ... Saw action in a 4-0 win over IUPUI (10/27) in the championship game of The Summit League Tournament ... Named Academic All-Summit League.

2006: Played in eight games as a sophomore ... Mid-Con Academic All-Conference selection ... Mid-Con Commissioner[apos]s List of Academic Excellence ... Golden Grizzlies Excellence in Academics.

2005: Appeared in eight matches for the Golden Grizzlies ... named to the Mid-Con Academic All-Conference team as well as the Golden Grizzlies Excellence in Academics list.

2004: Redshirted the season.

High School/Club: A 2004 graduate of De La Salle High School in Warren, Michigan ... four-time letterwinner in soccer for head coach Terry Muhktar ... first team all-state as a senior ... scored 10 goals and had 12 assists and was also named to the Dream Team ... third team all-state as a junior ... team captain as a senior ... played club soccer for the Michigan Wolves in Livonia, Michigan.
