In the Oakland Center Banquet Rooms on Friday, Jan. 25.

Anne Williams is in her fifth year in the Oakland compliance office. In her position she helps to track Oakland's student-athlete's eligibility as well as assisting with ensuring the department's compliance with NCAA, Summit League and Oakland rules and regulations.

Williams was already familiar with the department after spending part of the 2004-05 school year serving as an intern in the Golden Grizzly compliance office. She is also currently involved as an assistant swim coach for the Birmingham Blue Dolphins.

A 2003 graduate of Indiana University with a degree in secondary education/mathematics, Williams swam for four years on the Hoosier swimming and diving team. She captained the 2003 team that won the Big Ten championship and was a two-time honorable mention All-American and a two-time Academic All-American. She was also a qualifier for the 2000 Olympic Trials. Williams is a 1999 graduate of Seaholm High School in Birmingham, Mich. where she was a two-time state champion and captain of the swim team as a senior. Williams also holds a Master's Degree in Sport Administration from Wayne State University, awarded in December 2005.
