            Scott spent the last two years as the Graduate Assistant at Boston University
         
     
 
Elizabeth Scott joined the Oakland Athletics staff in the Fall of 2015 as an Assistant Athletic Trainer. She will assist with sport coverage for the Golden Grizzlies.
Prior to coming to Oakland, Scott spent the past two years as the Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at Boston University from the men's and women's track and field, cross country and women's rugby programs. She managed complex patient cases and helped in a variety of areas including women's rowing, women's soccer, men and women's swimming and diving, dance theater patients, and club sport gymnasts.
As an Athletic Training student at Florida, Scott assisted clinical preceptors with the management of various orthopedic and non-orthopedic patient cases involving student-athletes from women's gymnastics and the men's and women's track and field teams. She also interned at the University of Florida Sports Health where she organized  pertinent documentation for all incoming student athletes and assisted with participation screening.
A native of Brighton, Mass., Scott attended Florida and received a bachelor's degree in athletic training and later earned a master's degree in Human Physiology at Boston University.
