In the Oakland Center Banquet Rooms on Friday, Jan. 25.

Eddie Turner became the Oakland University equipment manager in 1998. Turner's primary duties include handling all aspects of ordering, fitting and maintaining equipment for the 18 Golden Grizzly athletic programs. He also plays a key role in the day-to-day management of facilities operations.

Turner joined the OU athletics department staff after serving 11 years with the Oakland custodial staff. Prior to coming to Oakland University he was a teacher for the Pontiac School District from 1986-91. Turner graduated from Michigan State University in 1986 with a degree in primary education.
