Gina DeMartis joined the Oakland athletics department in 2007. After serving as an administrative assistant for one year at OU she has moved into a new role as the Assistant to the Athletic Director and Events Coordinator.

Before starting with Oakland, DeMartis spent a year as the assistant athletics director at the Holy Family Regional School. She has also spent time working with The Marketing Group in Rochester Hills and has seven years of experience with the Hudson Valley C.L., working as a counselor, with student activities and student development.

A 1981 graduate of SUNY-Oswego with a B.A. in communications, DeMartis was a four-year letterwinner in volleyball while also earning a pair of letters in softball for the Lakers. She went on to earn a Masters degree in higher education administration from Albany in 1989. DeMartis and her husband Richard reside in Rochester Hills with their two children, Daniel and Joseph.
