Biography

Mike Takashima enters his first year as an assistant coach on John Musachio[apos]s staff after concluding his Golden Grizzlies playing career in the 2008 season.

Takashima was a standout for OU, posting a 2-8 record with a 4.65 ERA in his two seasons at Oakland. Before coming to Oakland, Takashima played two seasons at Michigan State with a 3-4 record on the mound.

A 2004 graduate of Rochester High School, Takashima was a three-time all-league and all-district selection, posting a 6-2 record with a 1.08 ERA as a senior.
