Ohio State Outshoots Oakland

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State University bested Oakland University Women's Soccer in Columbus on Thursday night with a 6-0 victory.

Oakland finished the first half with only one shot as the Golden Grizzlies were down 4-0 after the first 45 minutes. Freshman Lisa Kazandjian had OU's attempt through the first frame. 

The second half saw Oakland's offensive attempts amplify to six in the next 45 minutes behind the boots of Jayna Fraser, Frankie Mudd, Shannon Brown (twice), Jhelysse Anthony, and Sunniva Raaen for a total of seven.

Ohio State then extended their lead to 6-0 through two goals in the second half.

Oakland will face Illinois State University on Sunday, September 3 at 2:00 p.m. for its next matchup.
