INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – On Tuesday, Oakland University Men's Track & Field High Jumper Alex Hugh-Plott received his second Nike #HLTF Men's Field Athlete of the Week as announced by the conference after his school-record-breaking performance.

After breaking his own school record on Saturday, Hugh-Plott now ranks 16th in the entire NCAA Division I with his new height of 2.16m (7'1") which puts the Grand Rapids native 3.75" over the next closes #HLTF athlete.

This is the grad student's second Field Athlete of the Week honor this season, previously receiving the award on January 17.
