ROCHESTER, Mich. - Oakland Swim and Dive returns to the pool deck in a power five matchup against Purdue and Rutgers where the men will be competing in a dual against Purdue, and the women will compete in a double dual against Rutgers women's team. 

This marks the first time that the Golden Grizzlies will be facing off against these Big 10 teams in the Morgan J. Burke Aquatic Center, home to the Boilermakers. 

A few weeks back, we saw Oakland take on the Toledo Rockets in a women's dual meet, and prior to that, the Miami Redhawks at home in the Oakland Aquatic Center. The Golden Grizzlies are primed for another non-conference slate this weekend after training against these reputable swim and dive programs.  

Additionally, the Horizon League named Ellie Chalifioux Under Armour Diver of the Week on October 18th following her top-placing scores at the Toledo meet.

 There will be two heats of each event for women,  and two heats for the men, except for the 1650 meter competition.
