INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - On Thursday, the Horizon League selected Oakland Swim and Dive athletes Christian Bart and Jordyn Shipps as Athlete of the Week following their exceptional dual meet performances over the weekend. 


CHRISTIAN BART | OAKLAND | GRADUATE STUDENT | GRAND RAPIDS, MICH.
 
Bart leads all top times in the Horizon League following his event wins this weekend in Oakland's dual meet against Miami (OH). The graduate student won both the 50-yard freestyle (20.52) and 100-yard freestyle (45.27) events with recognizable times. Not only this, but he contributed to two first-place relay finishes in both the 200-yard and 400-yard relay competitions. 


JORDYN SHIPPS | OAKLAND | JUNIOR | DEWIT, MICH.
 
Shipps secured first place in the freestyle event with her time of (55.71), and second in the butterfly with her time of (2:02.56) placing her at the top of the conference for these event times in the Horizon League.
