ROCHESTER, Mich. – On February 3-4, Oakland University Men's and Women's Track & Field will hit the oval at the Loftus Sports Center in South Bend, Indiana for the prestigious Meyo Invitational hosted by the University of Notre Dame.
The Men's High Jump squad ranks 11th in the entirety of NCAA Division I with a total of 8.10m (26' 6.75") to join the likes of Louisville, Auburn, Arkansas, Iowa, Nebraska, and others. The Golden Grizzlies are ranked ahead of Michigan State, Youngstown State, Milwaukee, and Detroit Mercy in the event.
Naturally, Alex Hugh-Plott ranks first in the conference in the high jump while the Golden Grizzlies sweep first through third in the Men's 400m with Justin Kudera, Eddie Harrell III, and Armon Howard. Harrell notches the top time in the Men's 800m as well alongside Yami Albrecht who has the top mark in the Men's Mile.
Oakland's Men's 4x400m Relay and Women's 4x400m Relay secure the top positions in the league heading into the weekend. Ashley Quinn holds the Women's Mile spot as the only women's individual with a top #HLTF mark.
