INDIANAPOLIS – Oakland's Thomas Giroux has been named the Nike Horizon League Golfer of the Week. 

Giroux had a fantastic performance at the ECU Intercollegiate, finishing tied for fourth with a tournament total of 215 (-1). The senior shot a 68 (-4) in the final round of the competition and tied for the lowest score of the round. 

Oakland finished the tournament in eighth place and will continue their competition at the Butler Spring Invitational Mar. 29-30.
