INDIANAPOLIS - Oakland`s Ashley Burr has been named Horizon League Runner of the Week for the period of April 18-24, announced by the league office on Tuesday.

Burr, a junior from Midland, Mich., set the league's top 5000m mark with a time of 17:14.04 to finish first in the 5000m section at the Jessie Owens Memorial Classic (April 23).

The Golden Grizzlies are competing at the 11th Annual Dual against the University of Detroit Mercy at Titan Field today at 3:30 p.m. The team will also travel to the Hillsdale Gina Relays on Thursday, April 28 through Saturday, April 30.
