Oct. 27, 2016 ROCHESTER, Mich. ââ'¬" Oakland University Athletics and Campus Den have partnered in order to provide fans with Golden Grizzly gear throughout the state of Michigan and at home games, announced Director of Athletics Jeff Konya on Thursday. As part of a six-figure, multi-year deal, Campus Den has acquired the rights to be the official merchandise provider of Golden Grizzly Athletics.

"This is a first-class organization that will be selling our merchandise," said Konya. "We are very excited to provide our fans with the opportunity to purchase official Wear the Bear gear on campus at home contests, on-line at GoldenGrizzlies.com, and down the road from campus at the Village of Rochester Hills as Campus Den builds an Oakland store."

Campus Den will have the largest selection of Oakland apparel and specialize in graphic t-shirts for dedicated students, alumni and sports fanatics. Golden Grizzly fans will be able to choose from t-shirts, sweatshirts, hats, humorous Metro Series merchandise, and accessories.

"Campus Den and Oakland University Athletics are perfectly suited for partnership," said John Damoth, Owner of Campus Den. "I think with our retail history we can certainly serve Oakland's fan base well and by keeping a close relationship with the athletic department, the fans, and alumni, we hope to grow this into a new standard for University and Retail partnerships at this level."

The on-line store is scheduled to be completed within 45 days and can be found on GoldenGrizzlies.com. There will be sport-specific offers and the Golden Grizzlies will benefit from Campus Den's 20-plus outlets across the state of Michigan.
