Elena Popkey earns OU Student-Athlete of the Week after averaging 21 points while shooting over 58 percent from the field as the Golden Grizzlies went 1-1 in the opening Summit League weekend.

Popkey, a freshman from Warren, Mich., scored 22 points against Western Illinois on Friday including three 3-pointers and four rebounds. In the win over IUPUI, Popkey scored a game-high 20 points and went 8-for-11 from the field including 3-for-4 from behind the arc.

This is Popkey's first career OU Student-Athlete of the Week honor.
