Vanessza Balogh earns OU Student-Athlete of the Week after winning three individual events while helping head coach Pete Hovland earn his 300th career win as the men's and women's head coach at Oakland.
Balogh, a native of Budapest, Hungary, earned The Summit League Swimming and Diving Female Athlete of the Week as well when she won three events in three different disciplines. She won the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 2:05.92, the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:22.83 and the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 4:59.23.
This is Balogh's first OU Student-Athlete of the Week honor this year and the second of her career.
