Rochester, Mich. - The Oakland men's and women's swimming and diving teams will compete in the last meets of 2011 as part of the team will compete at the 2011 AT&T Winter National Championships in Atlanta, Ga. on Dec. 1-3 and the rest of the team will compete at the Eastern Michigan Invitational in Ypsilanti, Mich. on Dec. 2-3.

OU has six athletes competing at the USA Long Course Nationals hosted by Georgia Tech including Amr el Sayed, Nick Evans, Grant Harding, Joe Rodgers, Ben Vavra and Scott Yarbrough. They will be swimming against some of the best swimmers in the world.

The rest of the men's team and the complete women's team will compete in the EMU invite against six teams including Eastern Michigan, Ball State and Summit League rival IUPUI. The last time the Golden Grizzlies were in the pool, both teams earned wins against EMU at Jones Natatorium as Matyas Keresztes earned a pair of first-place finishes and Johanna Gustafsson won two individual events and was a part of two winning relay teams.
