Results Bowling Green, Ohio (Sept. 15, 2007) ???C Oakland???s women???s cross country team registered an eighth-place finish at Bowling Green State University???s Mel Brodt Invitational this afternoon, compiling a team score of 202. Ohio University won the meet with a team score of 49 points. Freshman Kelsey Carmean (Ortonville, Mich.) had the top finish for OU, placing 22nd overall in the field of 166 with a time of 18:41.68 in the 5K race. Freshman Amy Noser (Rochester, Mich.) placed 40th with a time of 19:13.52, followed closely by sophomore Sara Gerhardt (Macomb, Mich.) in 44th with a 19:19.08 and freshman Sarah Thompson (Tustin, Mich.) in 46th with a 19:21.12. Freshman Erica D???Angelo (Clinton Township, Mich.) clocked in at 19:27.38, good for 55th, while sophomore Leslie Schachinger (Clawson, Mich.) recorded a personal best time of 19:32.33 to place 63rd. Freshman Liz Jones (Waterford, Mich.) rounded out the scoring runners for the Golden Grizzlies, crossing the finish line in 70th place with a time of 19:38.50. Junior Stephanie Huber (Sterling Heights, Mich.) ran a 19:41.61 to finish 72nd, while freshman Kelsey Krych (Goodrich, Mich.) logged a time of 19:45.35 for 75th place. Rounding out the field for OU was sophomore Kayla Doan (Ortonville, Mich.) in 100th place with a time of 20:15.84.
