Callie Simpson joined Oakland University Athletics as the Athletics Special Event Coordinator in October 2024. A 2020 graduate of Eastern Michigan University, she holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in sports marketing, complemented with a minor in art and entertainment management.

Before joining Oakland, Simpson honed her skills as a Venue Coordinator and Brand Manager, successfully orchestrating events that boosted brand visibility and engaged audiences. Her experience in fan engagement with renowned organizations like the Detroit Tigers, Lions, and Red Wings has given her valuable insights into creating memorable sporting experiences.

At Oakland University, Simpson looks forward to leveraging her passion for athletics and event coordination to foster community spirit and deliver exceptional events that celebrate the university’s athletic achievements.
