Sean Broadbent is in his third season as an assistant coach for men[apos]s and women[apos]s swimming at Oakland University. Broadbent earned four letters in swimming for the Golden Grizzlies. In 2001, he won the 50 and 100-yard freestyle events at the Mid-Con Championships. Broadbent was named the Mid-Con Newcomer of the Year that season. As a junior in 2003, he swam on three relays teams that earned All-American honors. For his career, Broadbent won six individual titles and swam on 14 championship relay teams at the Mid-Con Championships. A native of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, Broadbent earned a Bachelor[apos]s in Business from Oakland in 2005. In addition to coaching, he is finishing up a Masters degree in business from OU.
