Quinn spent last year at Princeton as an athletic trainer
Michelle Quinn joined the Athletic Performance team at Oakland University in April 2015. Quinn serves as Assistant Athletic Trainer and assists with sports coverage for the Golden Grizzlies.
Prior to coming to Oakland, Quinn spent a year at Princeton as the athletic trainer for men's rugby, men's heavyweight and women's open crew teams. She assisted with practice and game coverage for football, men's hockey, men's and women's volleyball, and women's rugby. Quinn evaluated injuries, created treatment and rehabilitation programs, designed injury prevention plans and assisted with administrative duties for the sports medicine office.
Quinn served as a Post-Graduate Athletic Trainer Intern at the University of Michigan in 2012-13. There she worked with water polo, men's swimming and diving and women's swimming and diving teams. She also assisted with field hockey, volleyball, softball and tennis.
At Wisconsin, Quinn worked as a graduate assistant in the athletic training room, handling men's and women's swimming and diving teams. She also assisted with football and women's basketball for the Badgers. Quinn earned her master's degree from UW in education leadership and policy analysis in higher education.
A native of St. Cloud, Fla., Quinn attended Florida State and received a bachelor's degree in athletic training. She worked three years in the FSU athletic training department, assisting with several different sports over her time.
