• Brother, Phillip swims at Oakland
• Mother, Nancy was a 24-time All-American at Oakland from 1985-88 and was a 1994 Hall of Honor Inductee 
• Uncle, Jeff Cooper was a 13-time All-American at Oakland from 1985-88
• Aunt, Lyn Cooper was a 27-time All-American and seven-time National Champion at Oakland from 1989-92 and was a 1998 Hall of Honor Inductee
