ROCHESTER, Mich. — Coordinator for Game Day Operations Samantha Nelson announced the hiring of Andrea Doa as the Marketing Graduate Assistant. 

Doa graduated from GSVU with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and has experience in marketing, customer service, community engagement, and general management.

"Andrea has been a great addition to our marketing team. She brings experience and fresh ideas to the table that will enhance our gameday experience and keep our fans coming back. I'm looking forward to working together to make this season great!" Nelson said. 

As a previous GVSU Athletics Promotions and Marketing Intern and Lansing Lugnuts Marketing Intern, Doa comes prepared to tackle game-day operations and marketing in Oakland Athletics. 

"I am so excited for the next step in my sports and academic career to be with Oakland University. Coming into an athletic department that is focused on innovation, growth, and creating memories for our fans is very motivating and reminds me why I love my career path so much! Seeing our hard work pay off on the smiling faces of Golden Grizzlies fans is what it's all about," Doa said.
