Dec. 22, 2017 ROCHESTER, Mich. -- Oakland University honored three student-athletes Saturday, Dec. 16 at the winter commencement ceremony. Oakland cross country's Ashley Burr, men's basketball Jalen Hayes and men's soccer Keenan King all earned degrees on Saturday.

Burr, a Midland, Mich. native boasts a 3.50 GPA and received a degree in health sciences. Hayes, who reigns from Lansing, Mich. earned a degree on Saturday in human resource development. King, a native of Boynton Beach, Fla., earned a degree in integrative studies recording a 3.20 GPA during his time with the Golden Grizzlies.
