ROCHESTER, Mich. - This week's edition of Golden Grizzlies Weekly previews Oakland hosting the Horizon League Softball Championship on campus, while the baseball team will play its final home series of the season.

TUESDAY, May 5
Baseball vs. Eastern Michigan, 3 p.m.
▪ The baseball team will host Eastern Michigan on Tuesday as the two teams will play each other for the first time since 2011.

WEDNESDAY-SATURDAY, May 6-9
Softball hosts Horizon League Championship
▪ The Golden Grizzlies won the regular-season title over the weekend and will host the Horizon League Softball Championship this week at the Oakland Softball Field. Play begins on Wednesday at noon, but Oakland's first game will not be until Thursday at noon.

FRIDAY-SUNDAY, May 8-10
Baseball vs. UIC
▪ Oakland will host its final home series of the season as they play UIC at the Oakland Baseball Field for a three-game set. Saturday is both Alumni and Senior Day as all returning alumni will be celebrated with a special presentation before the game, while after the game the seven graduating seniors will be honored.

GOLDEN GRIZZLIES ON THE ROAD
▪ The baseball team will take on its second in-state foe and second MAC opponent in as many days on Wednesday when it travels to Western Michigan looking for the season sweep of the Broncos starting at 3 p.m.
