ROCHESTER, Mich. - This week's edition of Golden Grizzlies Weekly highlights the home openers of both baseball and softball, while women's tennis will host the University of Detroit Mercy in the Metro Series.

TUESDAY, April 14
Softball vs. Central Michigan, 2 p.m.
▪ The softball team is coming off a series sweep UDM and will play its home opener against the Chippewas at the Oakland Softball Field in doubleheader action.

WEDNESDAY, April 15
Baseball vs. Western Michigan, 3 p.m.
▪ The baseball team will also be making its home debut this week as they host the Broncos on Wednesday starting at 3 p.m. from the Oakland Baseball Field.

FRIDAY-SATURDAY, April 17-18
Softball vs. Green Bay
▪ The softball team will look to stay in first place in the Horizon League standings as they host Green Bay in a three-game series from the Oakland Softball Field.

FRIDAY-SUNDAY, April 17-19
Baseball vs. Wright State
▪ The Golden Grizzlies continue Horizon League play this weekend with a three-game series against Wright State at the Oakland Baseball Field.

SATURDAY, April 18
Women's Tennis vs. Detroit, noon
▪ The women's tennis team will host the Titans from Bloomfield Tennis & Fitness with two points on the line in the inaugural Metro Series, driven by Trinity Transportation.

Men's and Women's Track and Field
▪ After hosting the first two track meets on Oakland's campus, the Golden Grizzlies will be on the road at the Al Owens Classic, hosted by Grand Valley State, on April 17-18.
